Meet Emily.

Emily recognized her desire to be a doula after serving a close friend during two of her births. She realized how important this position was to the mother and her family. As a doula, Emily finds it truly rewarding to encourage a woman through this emotional, physical and spiritual process. Watching a woman turn inward to focus on delivering their child and seeing them gain confidence in themselves, is beautiful. Emily loves birth, specifically the births of her own four children! Her role is to encourage and calm you when you might feel overwhelmed by labor. She is there to remind you that you can birth this little one and that your body was made to do it! She’ll stay by your side through the entire birth to assist you in whatever way you need.

Emily is a DONA certified birth doula serving the Twin Cities metro area and has been practicing since 2019. She currently serves in private birth settings as well as with Everyday Miracles. She completed a nine month internship with the Minnesota Birth Center in 2020. Emily provides doula services for single births as well as twin births, IVF and VBAC births.

Emily lives in the South Metro, Twin Cities. When she’s not doulaing, Emily is homeschooling her four children, cooking tasty food, taking trips with her hubby, running to baseball and soccer games, or hanging out with sweet friends. Emily looks forward to getting to know you and treating you royally on your birth journey!
